Step 1: Initial Consultation
We begin with a one-on-one design consultation, either in person or virtually. During this session, we’ll talk through your style preferences, inspiration, wedding details, body measurements, and any must-have features. Feel free to bring photos, fabric ideas, or simply your dreams—we’ll bring the expertise.
Step 2: Concept & Design Sketches
Based on your vision, we’ll create custom design sketches just for you. You’ll receive 1–2 concept drawings that reflect the silhouette, detailing, and personality you’re looking for. Once we land on the perfect design, it’s time to bring it to life.
Step 3: Fabric Selection
We’ll guide you through selecting the ideal fabrics, laces, and embellishments for your gown. From luxurious silks and satins to beaded appliqués and delicate tulle, we’ll source high-quality materials that bring depth and beauty to your custom design.
Step 4: Pattern Making & Draping
Your gown will be drafted using a custom pattern tailored specifically to your body. We use a mix of draping, patterning, and precision cutting to ensure the best fit and structure for your silhouette.
Step 5: Construction & Embellishment
Our team begins constructing your gown by hand, carefully shaping each layer and sewing with precision. Beading, embroidery, or lace placement is added with close attention to detail. Throughout the process, you’ll receive photo updates or progress check-ins if desired.
Step 6: Fittings & Alterations
We’ll schedule fittings to fine-tune the fit and make any necessary adjustments. Our goal is a flawless, comfortable fit that feels like it was made just for you—because it was.
Step 7: Final Styling & Delivery
Once complete, we’ll press and steam your gown, style it for delivery or pickup, and provide tips for care, transport, and getting dressed on the big day. We can even coordinate with your wardrobe stylist or offer day-of dressing services to ensure every detail is perfect.
